Delete your Overview account

You can delete your Overview account and its personal data yourself, at any time, from inside the app. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

From the Overview mobile app

Open the Overview app and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm. The account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

From the web app

Sign in at overview.sentillianalytics.com.
Open Settings from the sidebar.
In the Delete account section, type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your name, email address, and password
Your login sessions and any registered push-notification tokens
Your membership of every organization, and any pending invitations
Your notification history
Growth-stage and disease verifications you submitted, including any photos attached to them
Any bug reports you filed

What is kept, and why

Overview is a shared workspace. Field data belongs to the organization that created it, not to an individual account, so it is not deleted when you leave. This includes field boundaries, satellite imagery and vegetation-index history, crop records, sensor readings, scouting notes and tasks, prescriptions, and application records.

Where one of those records recorded you as the author, your identity is removed from it — the record remains with the organization, no longer attributed to you.

We may also retain a minimal record of the transaction where we are legally required to, such as invoices and billing history needed for tax and accounting purposes.

If you are the only owner of an organization

An organization can never be left without an owner. If you are the sole owner of one, the app will tell you which organization is blocking the deletion. Either promote another member to owner from Team, or delete the organization first, then delete your account.

If you cannot sign in to delete the account yourself, email us from the address on the account and we will process the deletion for you: [email protected]. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
